Unsere Erinnerungen schreiben sich in uns ein und sind doch flüchtig. Neues legt sich über sie, sie lösen sich auf oder ziehen sich ins Unbewusste zurück. Vergangenes nicht festzuhalten ist manchmal schmerzvoll, manchmal heilsam. break to fade taucht ein in ein persönliches Universum und erzählt von Übergängen, Brüchen und Transformation. Zugleich driftend und mit beiden Füßen im Hier und Jetzt – diesem so temporären wie prägendenden Zustand.

Our memories inscribe themselves within us, still they are ephemeral. New experiences overlay them, they dissolve or recede into the unconscious. Not holding on to the past is sometimes painful, sometimes healing. break to fade delves into a personal universe and tells of transitions, ruptures and transformation. Both drifting and grounded in the present moment – this very moment that is as temporary as it is formative.
